ZERO is a fully offline device, providing the most extreme form of protection against online hackers. As it never needs to connect over USB, Bluetooth, NFC, Wifi, 4G or any other network connection while creating your keys or signing transactions, hackers simply cannot even attempt to steal your crypto.

ZERO comes with multiple layers of anti-tampering to ensure that even if someone finds your device, your private keys cannot be stolen. In its deepest layer, ZERO also embeds a Secure Element (SE) that is specifically designed to be an additional vault for your private keys.
When a number of wrongful PIN entries is made or when a physical attack is detected, ZERO is also designed to automatically wipe all sensitive information.

ZERO’s Operating System (OS) has been developed from scratch by our experienced security experts. Whereas some hardware wallets rely on mobile phone operating systems, NGRAVE removes any associated vulnerabilities by offering its own OS.
BIP39 Compatible
Mnemonic seed supported
ZERO comes with several innovations including the NGRAVE ‘Perfect Key’ consisting of 64 hexadecimal characters. It also supports all industry standards existing today: ZERO can import your 12-, 18-, and 24-word seed phrases from other hardware wallets, and can create 24-word seed phrases. You can also convert the NGRAVE key to its 24-words equivalent and vice versa.
EAL7 Secure Update Mode
Firmware upgrades at the highest security
ZERO has an isolated USB-C port for wall charging and firmware updates. To enable the USB port, the device needs to be rebooted into ‘update’ mode. The device will only receive firmware packages and the full process is controlled by the EAL7 secure OS, which will check new packages on genuineness and ensure there are no other points of attack.
